Basils Farm provides the ideal location for special events and educational workshops. Enjoy outdoor activities such as self-guided walks, food foraging in the native conservation land, or join one of our regular gardening or art workshops.
For food and wine lovers, we also hold dinners with winemaker Ray Nadeson, cooking classes with guest chefs and wine and food matching experiences.
Basils Farm is also the perfect choice for those looking for a venue with a difference. With stunning views across Swan Bay to Queenscliff, the grassed area and Basils Cafe are available to book for corporate wine tastings and private group events.

Private Functions, Corporate Events and Catering Basils Farm can accommodate private functions in the Cafe (out of regular business hours) and in our large outdoor marquee (all hours). Basils Farm “Sunday Sessions” Acoustic Music.
Our live music “Sunday Sessions” will continue throughout the summer months. Sit back and relax to the sounds of talented musicians play every Sunday 12.30-3.30pm.

Fun for the Kids at Basils Farm!
Feed the Farm Animals + Lunch.
Our popular Children’s “Meet and Feed the Animal Sessions + Lunch” will begin again on Thursday 14th March.
Held every Thursday during School Terms 2 & 3 and also every Thursday during the school holidays. (Weather dependent).
Children get to meet and feed the farm animals including llamas, Babydoll sheep, chickens and ducks and also visit our Chicken Caravan to see how we collect the eggs for our cafe.
Registration is from 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
Cost: $20 per child (only book in children attending). Includes lunch and a drink. Please see the current children’s menu for an example of meals.
Sessions are limited to 15 children. Please wear suitable footwear for walking around the farm and paddocks. Gumboots are great in the cooler months. You may like a pram or pusher for little ones to visit the chickens (5 min walk). Our tour guides are Mark and Paige who both have working with children checks and love our animals and ensuring that all children have the opportunity to participate!

Artist Trung Truong is currently showcasing his artwork at Basils Farm This versatile artist’s love of nature shines through and portrays the diverse cultural influence of places he has lived. The beautiful Bellarine Peninsula is now his home and has inspired his recent series of Bellarine, fine art landscape photographs and paintings. These striking images display a depth of beauty and invite quiet contemplation.
