Open Monday and Wednesday – Sunday. (CLOSED Tuesday).

Weekdays – Café hours: 9am – 4pm.
Cellar Door hours: 11am to 4pm.
Breakfast – 9am to 11am. (Limited menu, as per menu page).
Lunch – 12pm to 3pm. (Full menu + Specials).

Weekends – Café hours: 8am to 5pm.
Cellar Door hours: 11am to 5pm.
Breakfast – 8am to 11am  (Full menu).
Lunch – 12pm to 4pm (Full menu + specials).

At Basils Farm we LOVE to keep things fresh – using eggs from our chooks, ‘just picked’ seasonal produce from our garden and partnering with great local producers and suppliers to complement the growing season. (Please note, our menu changes monthly).

Main Meals 

Toasted Cubanos with Pulled Pork $27
Free range pork shoulder, shaved ham, swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles. Served with Cajun spiced baked wedges.

Chicken and Peach Salad $27
House smoked Bannockburn free range chicken breast, streaky bacon, and local peach salad. Fresh Basils leaves and mint, with a Basils raw honey and whole grain mustard dressing. (GF & DF).

Beef Tomato and Mushroom Ragu Rigatoni $29
Smoked beef, tomato, and mushroom ragu, with fresh rigatoni pasta. Served with walnut, kale, lemon pesto and Parmesan. (DF on request).

Eggplant and Chickpea Curry $26
Southern Indian Style curry, with chickpeas and homegrown eggplant. Served with mixed rice and coconut yoghurt. (GF, DF, Vegetarian, Vegan).

King Prawn Salad $34
King prawns, ruby grapefruit and cucumber ribbon salad, with roasted chilli dressing. (GF & DF).

Leg of Lamb and Ratatouille $62 for 2
Saltbush, garlic, and lemon rubbed leg of lamb, with a mint and caper couscous. Basils ratatouille and a salsa verde. (DF).

House Smoked Duck Pancakes $70 for 2
House smoked shredded Great Ocean Road Duck, served with Basils plum sauce, hoisin, steamed pancakes, and julienne vegetables.

Something Light

Selection of Noisette Breads with Garlic and Rosemary Hummus, Basils Kale Walnut and Lemon Pesto, Marinated Olives, Pistachio Dukkah. *NB:- this dish contains nuts & seeds

Apostle Whey Smoked Havarti and Bay of Martyrs Blue Cheese, with Victorian Brie Cheese, Crackers, Quince Paste, Celery, Apples, and Pickles. (GF on request).

Farmhouse Ploughman’s Plate  $24/person
Victorian Salami, Serrano Ham, house-smoked Free Range Chicken, Duck Liver, Basils Pinot Pate, Apostle Whey Enterprize Double Brie, Olives, Homegrown and local Pickled and roasted Vegies with Bread and Dips. (GF, Vego, Vegan and Nut Free option/s on request)

Seafood Plate  $26/person
House Smoked Salmon, Lime cured raw local Snapper, rare seared Yellow Fin Sesame Tuna, Pickled Portarlington Mussels, Chilli and Herb Prawn, mixed Leaves, and toasted Bread. (GF on request).
