2016 Kiltynane Pinot Noir
Picked early March after an excellent ripening period with cool nights, sea breezes
and long dry spells. Whole berry pressed and wild fermented in small open fermenters.
12 months maturation in select custom French oak with minimal intervention.
The colour is ruby garnet. Tasting: Rich savoury, white cherry then smokey prosciutto,
earth and soft spice overlays. Supple tannins and youthful acid will see this pinot
cellar well for at least 12 years.
