2018 Basils Farm Chardonnay
Handpicked fruit, fermented in new French oak barriques and puncheons, using indigenous wild yeasts. Matured in new, large format, non-toasted oak. This wine has been made with minimal intervention in the winery.
The palate is mid-weight with fruit flavours of white peach, citrus and a hint of Tahitian lime. Reminiscent of a Chablis style. Enjoy now or will reward with some years in the cellar.
